HENRY FORD
Dear children today we are going to read a motivational story about Henry Ford who might be motivate as well as inspire you.
Henry Ford, the founder of the Ford Motor Company, revolutionized the automotive industry with his innovative assembly line production method. However, his journey to success was not without setbacks.
As a young man, Ford was fascinated by mechanics and engineering. He worked as an apprentice machinist and later as an engineer at the Edison Illuminating Company. In 1896, he built his first gasoline-powered vehicle, the Quadricycle.
Ford's dream was to make cars affordable for the average American. He formed the Detroit Automobile Company in 1899, but it failed due to the high prices of his vehicles. Undeterred, he formed the Henry Ford Company in 1902, but was forced out by his investors.
In 1903, Ford founded the Ford Motor Company with a mere $28,000 in capital. He introduced the Model T in 1908, which became a huge success. However, it was the assembly line production method that truly transformed the industry.
Despite his success, Ford faced numerous challenges, including lawsuits, factory fires, and personal struggles. Nevertheless, he persevered and continued to innovate.
In 1914, Ford made headlines by introducing the "Five-Dollar Day" wage for his workers, doubling their pay. This move not only improved the lives of his employees but also reduced employee turnover and increased productivity.
Henry Ford's story teaches us valuable lessons:
1. Perseverance: Ford faced numerous setbacks, but he never gave up on his dreams.
2. Innovation: He revolutionized the industry with his assembly line production method.
3. Empathy: He prioritized his workers' well-being by introducing the "Five-Dollar Day" wage.
4. Adaptability: Ford continuously improved and adapted his business strategies to stay ahead.
Remember, success often requires persistence, creativity, and a willingness to learn from failures. As Henry Ford said, "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently."
FROM: META.
"Success in not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."
- by Winston Churchil
This quote emphasizes that success and failure are both temporary states. What matters most is the courage and perseverance to keep moving forward, learning from failures, and staying committed to your goals.
Remember, every successful person has experienced setbacks and failures along the way. But it's their resilience, determination, and willingness to learn that ultimately leads them to achieve their dreams.
So, don't be discouraged by obstacles or failures. Instead, draw inspiration from Churchill's words and continue to push forward with courage and determination. You got this!
Have a marvelous Monday.
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
- Eleanor Roosevelt
IF YOU DONT KEEP TRACK OF YOUR DREAM , HOW WILL YOU FULFILL THEM"

WORLD BRAILLE DAY 4TH JANUARY
Even under normal circumstances, persons with disabilities—one billion people worldwide— are less likely to access health care, education, employment and to participate in the community. They are more likely to live in poverty, experience higher rates of violence, neglect and abuse, and are among the most marginalized in any crisis-affected community.
For the visually impaired, life under lockdown has posed several issues in terms of independence and isolation, especially for people who rely on the use of touch to communicate their needs and access information. The pandemic has revealed how critically important it is to produce essential information in accessible formats, including in Braille and audible formats. Otherwise, many persons with disabilities could face a higher risk of contamination due to a lack of access of guidelines and precautions to protect and reduce the spreading of a pandemic. COVID-19 has also emphasized the need to intensify all activities related to digital accessibility to ensure digital inclusion of all people.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, many good practices have been implemented by parts of the United Nations system to promote a disability-inclusive response to the COVID-19 and disseminate information in Braille.
In Malawi, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has produced 4,050 braille materials on awareness and prevention of COVID-19. In Ethiopia, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) disseminated audio information, and education and communication materials, to media professionals, and has developed Braille versions of the educational messages. UNICEF has produced guidance notes that are available in multiple languages and accessible formats (including Braille and ‘easy-to-read’). ‘COVID-19: Considerations for Children and Adults with Disabilities’ addresses such issues as access to information; water, sanitation and hygiene; health care; education; child protection; and mental health and psychosocial support, as well as considerations for an inclusive workplace.
World Braille Day, celebrated since 2019, is observed to raise awareness of the importance of Braille as a means of communication in the full realization of the human rights for blind and partially sighted people.
Braille is a tactile representation of alphabetic and numerical symbols using six dots to represent each letter and number, and even musical, mathematical and scientific symbols. Braille (named after its inventor in 19th century France, Louis Braille) is used by blind and partially sighted people to read the same books and periodicals as those printed in a visual font.
Braille is essential in the context of education, freedom of expression and opinion, as well as social inclusion, as reflected in article 2 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
